ABOUT
Karin Putsch-Grassi’s studio “Arte Ceramica” is in her home “Podere Casa Rosa” in the Tuscan countryside. Here she creates mostly decorative ceramics, one-of-a-kind pieces, and jewellery. Most of her work is thrown on the potters wheel and later altered.
Her forms are essential and linear, and she takes her inspiration from nature for the decorative finishing touches. Having acquired great technical skill in the field of ceramics in various European countries, Karin Putsch-Grassi now works freely in Raku, Majolica, stoneware and porcelain. The artist prefers to do Raku, a technique which makes each piece she creates unique and inimitable .
