Now in its second edition, the MIDeC Prize for Ceramic Design, promoted by the Associazione Amici del MIDeC under the direction of Lorenza Boisi and the curatorship of Fabio Carnaghi, presents the exhibition of the winning projects and of ten selected projects. The exhibition will be held at MIDeC – Museo Internazionale del Design Ceramico, in the historical location of Palazzo Perabò in Cerro di Laveno Mombello, from October 10 to November 7, 2021.

The jury, composed by Gino Bosa, head of the Design Department of Capitolium Art, Benedetta Falteri, director of the Montelupo Museum Foundation, Lorenzo Fiorucci, art historian, Mario Iodice, Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Laveno Mombello, Vittorio Veneziani, President Amicidel MIDeC, has decreed the first three projects classified.

Third classified ex aequo Karin Putsch-Grassi (Wuppertal, 1960) with “Liquirizia-figulinae” and Luce Raggi (Faenza, 1983) with “Too Blue to be True”.
